bloom.

Nothing to see here.

Which is the point.

Bloom does not collect anything. There is no account, no analytics, no ads, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs. There is no server of ours for your data to sit on.

Your journal

Check-ins, drinks, ratings, notes and photos are stored on your device. If you delete the app, they're gone with it.

Location

Bloom asks for your location only while you're using it, and only at the moment you tap Check In — it uses that one reading to list the cafés around you and to place a shop on the map. There is no background tracking. Your location is never sent anywhere: the nearby search is handled by Apple's own MapKit on your device, and Bloom makes no network requests of its own.

iCloud sync

Optional, and off by default. If you switch it on in Settings, your journal syncs through your own private iCloud database — Apple's infrastructure, your account, not visible to us.

Photos

Photos you attach to a visit are stored with that visit on your device. Bloom does not upload them, and it only reads the images you explicitly pick.

Sharing

Share cards are generated on your device when you ask for one, and go wherever you send them. Nothing is shared automatically.
